Freedom to Spend is a label originally launched in 2008 by Pete Swanson – formerly of Yellow Swans – it lay dormant until a reboot as a sublabel of Brooklyn's RVNG Intl. empire with drummer and boss of Portland crate diggers’ hotspot shop Little Axe Jed Bindeman in tow alongside the founder. Existing in a shimmering entireity unto itself Freedom to Spend cherishes marvellous music passed by and largely ignored, which brings us to ask: "What's going on now ....."
